Better Late Than Never | Welcome Blog

I've been traveling since I turned 17 years old. It all started with a solo train journey in 2004 when I was looking for colleges to get admission. I traveled from Lucknow to Delhi, Pune, and from there to Chandigarh exploring colleges to get admission. Since then, I have undertaken numerous journeys. I have worked in small villages, big cities, and island countries. A lot of people consider me a nomad, and I quite relate to it. Over the period of time, I realized that I have detached myself from places. My definition of home is not defined by a place, city, or country. I have felt at home in hostels, on train journeys, or just lying down under the sky.

Recently, I traveled to Vietnam, and initially, it was overwhelming. When I reflected, I realized that I was trying to mimic the "Instagram travelers," and that's not me. Five days into my journey, I got into my actual travel mode - slow, motivated by experiences, off-beat, something that matches my vibe, something that gives me a deeper connection, and something that takes me back home with a changed perspective.

I decided (again) to write my perspective and experiences. Something new every week after digging into my archives and reflecting on my previous experiences. I want to write about my interaction with people, and communities. I want to write about my fears and how I am living up to them. What happens when we overcome those fears and how traveling is magical? These blogs are not about recommendations, affordable accommodations, or helping you plan travel itineraries. Probably you might learn what not to do while traveling. These are subtle adventures.

Why do I need to start writing? I feel that I owe it to myself and others who are looking for inspiration to travel. It is also an opportunity for me to relive my experiences and create a memory bank. I have always been a storyteller, but I never thought about documenting my travels until now. It's better late than never.

Through my writing, I hope to encourage more people to travel and explore the world. I want to share my unique experiences and perspectives with others and show them that there's more to traveling than just taking pretty pictures for Instagram. Traveling is a transformative experience that can change your perspective and give you a deeper appreciation for the world around you.

I am excited to start writing about my travels and sharing my experiences with others. I hope my blog will inspire more people to explore the world and see the beauty in the places and people they encounter.
